Meet our Makers

What We Do

With the support of South Kerrier Alliance Community Interest Company and The Old Cattle Market, Hellys Craft Fair was created in 2014 by Sarah Vine and Emma Harrison.  Our aim was to bring a wide range of talented Cornish makers together in a fun, family friendly atmosphere and support the growing number of  kitchen table businesses in the area. We deliberately keep our fees as low as possible, to encourage micro businesses to come along and try out a new experience. Since then we have run over eight incredibly successful craft fairs, with an average of 35 makers at each fair – that’s a lot of craft and a lot of local talent!

How We Do It

We are located just off the A394, the main road linking Helston, Penzance and the Lizard.  We are in the beautiful Coronation Park, a popular area boasting a skate park, café, boating lake, children’s play area and the gateway to the National Trust Penrose Estate, with family and disabled friendly walks. There is ample parking, with over 200 free parking spaces just a 5 minute walk away. Recent fairs have attracted well over 500 visitors, with footfall and awareness of the Hellys brand increasing all the time.
