Sticking to your New Year’s resolutions?
A survey has revealed that Friday 24 January is the day when the UK’s collective willpower is most likely to be broken – and has been dubbed “Fail Friday” as a result. So we are now 13 days into the New Year with only another 11 days until “Fail Friday”!
So if you one of your New Year resolutions was to lose weight and get fit and you don’t want to to be part of the “Fail Friday” statistics why not check out the classes running here at the Old Cattle Market.
Are you trying to lose those extra pounds gained over the Christmas period? Well there is a regular Slimming World class on a Tuesday run by the lovely Suzie, why not come along and join this friendly group and see those extra pounds melt away!
Or why not check out a new programme devised by Maria Hocking and fitness specialist Pip Macmeikan who are combining their skills to help people manage their weight, tone and get the body and mind that they deserve with the help of a 12 week empowerment programme. The course starts in January and consists of weekly 2 hour sessions in which participants will get an hour of psychological motivation and nutritional advice, followed by a functional work-out.
So you have the healthy eating plan why not help those pounds disappear and sign up to a fitness class, from gentle yoga and Pilates, Zumba, HiiT, T’ai Chi and more! Check out the events pages for dates, times and booking information.
There’s lots going on, so stick to those resolutions and good luck!
