How To Get Here

The Community Centre is close to the centre of Helston town, adjacent to the A394 Penzance Road and provides connections to both the local highway network and onward travel via Porthleven, The Furry and Monument Road.   An established bus network is available in the immediate locality of the site and a number of buses pass the site, running along Penzance Road and Porthleven Road. Connections are available to a wide range of locations by a number of frequent services.  Formal and informal bus stops are provided on Porthleven Road and many more are within 400mteres walking distance.

Situated next to the Boating Lake in Helston, it offers ample parking in and around the vicinity and in easy walking distance of many local amenities.

There are a small number of parking spaces directly outside the Old Cattle Market which operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Immediately adjacent to the Old Cattle Market is a ‘Pay and Display’ car park providing 30+2 disabled spaces.  There is a further ‘pay and display’ car park located via the pedestrian crossing, this also provides good pedestrian access to the main high street.  A third car park can be located next to Flora Motors with a capacity of 80 spaces.  This car park is a short walk away from the centre and is free to park in.
